Kushinga Phikelela Agricultural College was established in 1981 to provide agricultural education and training for the agricultural sector. Kushinga Phikelela Agricultural College falls under the Department of Agricultural Education within the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development. The college focuses on implementing new curriculum Agricultural Education for Development 5.0 (AE4D 5.0) which has five critical pillars which are research, innovation, training, entrepreneurship and business advisory services that will transform the agricultural sector. The college is contributing to the National Development Strategy 1 NDS1) through human capital development in order to achieve Vision 2030 agricultural transformation, food security and economic development.
